Some characteristics of isolates of Rhizoctonia solani from patch of wheat and barley
Acta Mycologica, 2014 Rhizoctonia-like fungi were isolated from the roots of discased wheat and barley plants sampled from the centre and periphery of bare patches and from apparently healthy plants from outside of the patches. Of the isolates recovered.

Effect of validamycins on glycohydrolases of Rhizoctonia solani.
The Journal of Antibiotics, 1987 The pseudo-oligosaccharides, validamycins, showed potent inhibitory activity against trehalase of Rhizoctonia solani while no significant inhibition was exhibited against cellulase, pectinase, chitinase, alpha-amylase, alpha- and beta-glucosidases. In particular, validoxylamine A strongly inhibited trehalase in a competitive manner with a Ki value of 1.
