Surface plasmon-mediated far-field emission of laser dye solutions [PDF]

open access: yesOpt. Lett. 35, p 2245 (2010), 2010
Angle-resolved reflection and emission spectra of metal gratings consisting of sub-wavelength grooves and immersed into rhodamine B and rhodamine 19 solutions are presented. The measured reflection and emission dispersion diagrams reveal the surface plasmon polaritons positions and strong plasmon mediated emission enhancement, respectively.

Rhodamine 101 Conjugates of Triterpenoic Amides Are of Comparable Cytotoxicity as Their Rhodamine B Analogs

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
Pentacyclic triterpenoic acids (betulinic, oleanolic, ursolic, and platanic acid) were selected and subjected to acetylation followed by the formation of amides derived from either piperazine or homopiperazine.

MgO Nanoparticles as a Promising Photocatalyst towards Rhodamine B and Rhodamine 6G Degradation. [PDF]

open access: yesMolecules
The increasing global requirement for clean and safe drinking water has necessitated the development of efficient methods for the elimination of organic contaminants, especially dyes, from wastewater. This study reports the synthesis of magnesium oxide (MgO) nanoparticles via a simple precipitation approach and their thorough characterization using ...

Effect of Enamel Pre-etching with Sodium Hypochlorite Deproteinisation and Bonding Agent on Retention and Microleakage of Pit and Fissure Sealants: An In-vitro Study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2021
Introduction: Sealants have proved to be one of the easiest methods of caries prevention in young permanent teeth, the placement of which is very technique sensitive. The non-invasive method of pretreating the enamel surface by deproteinising it with

In vivo nerve-specificity of rhodamines and Si-rhodamines [PDF]

open access: yesMolecular-Guided Surgery: Molecules, Devices, and Applications VI, 2020
Accidental nerve damage or transection of vital nerve structures remains an unfortunate reality that is often associated with surgery. Despite the existence of nerve-sparing techniques, the success of such procedures is not only complicated by anatomical variance across patients but is also highly dependent on a surgeon's first-hand experience that is ...

Enhancement of Skin Delivery of Drugs Using Proposome Depends on Drug Lipophilicity

open access: yesPharmaceutics, 2021
The study aims to investigate the propylene glycol-based liposomes named ‘proposomes’ in enhancing skin permeation of drugs with different physicochemical properties. Ibuprofen, tofacitinib citrate, rhodamine B, and lidocaine were loaded into proposomes.
