The influence of cationic, anionic, nonionic surfactants and their mixtures on the fluorescence characteristics of rhodamine 6G and Rho-damine C solutions has been investigated. The fluorescence intensity of aqueous solutions of rhodamine 6G and in the presence of cetylpyridinium chloride and sodium dodecyl sulfate has almost unchanged throughout the ...

This study demonstrates the stability and Raman signal enhancement effects of Au@h‐BN nanoparticles in an alkaline electrolyte on. A comparison between conventional SiO2 and h‐BN shells reveals that the h‐BN core‐shell structure provides superior stability and enhanced Raman intensity over multiple cyclic voltammetry cycles.

Tunable Ultraviolet Vertically-emitting Organic Laser [PDF]
A solid-state organic thin-film laser with intracavity frequency doubling is reported. Tunable ultraviolet emission from 309 to 322 nm is achieved from a vertical external cavity surface-emitting organic laser, with 2 % efficiency (1 $\mu$J at 315 nm). The laser comprises a polymethyl(methacrylate) layer doped with Rhodamine 640, spun-cast onto a plane

Metal-Dielectric-Graphene Sandwich for Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy [PDF]
Raman intensity of Rhodamine B (RhB) is enhanced by inserting a thin high \k{appa} dielectric layer which reduces the surface plasmon damping at the gold-graphene interface. The results indicate that the Raman intensity increases sharply by plasmonic resonance enhancement while maintaining efficient fluorescence quenching with optimized dielectric ...

Melanoma cell spheroid engraftment is optimized in the chicken chorioallantoic membrane overcoming the complexity of other in vivo models. Using this model, greater penetration of cerium oxide nanoparticles (nanoceria) functionalized with heparin in spheroids is observed via enhancement of vascularization than nanoceria alone.

Evaluation of Rhodamine B as a Biomarker for Raccoons
The USDA/APHIS/Wildlife Services (WS) oral rabies vaccination program uses tetracycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic and relatively reliable biomarker, to quantify vaccinebait uptake by raccoons (Procyon lotor). However, obtaining samples (e.g., bone or teeth) to assess tetracycline uptake is highly invasive, and sample preparation can be expensive. By

This study develops itaconate‐based polymer microparticles (IA‐MPs) for macrophage‐targeted intracellular delivery, overcoming the limitations of traditional itaconate administration. IA‐MPs achieve controlled release through phagocytosis, reducing pro‐inflammatory cytokine expression and reprogramming macrophage metabolism toward glycolysis.

Structure and Dynamics of Poly(methacrylic acid) and Its Interpolymer Complex Probed by Covalently Bound Rhodamine-123 [PDF]
The dynamics and structural characteristics of polymethacrylic acid bound rhodamine-123 (PMAAR123) and its interpolymer complex with poly(vinylpyrrolidone) were investigated using single molecular fluorescence studies. The time resolved fluorescence anisotropy decay of PMAA-R123 at different pH exhibits an associated anisotropy decay behavior ...
