Ultra-low threshold pH sensor based on a whispering gallery mode microbubble resonator [PDF]
Laser sensing has a wide range of applications. In this paper, we propose a pH sensing laser with an ultra-low threshold and low sample consumption based on a whispering-gallery-mode microbubble resonator. Rhodamine 6G aqueous solutions with different pH values are used as the lasing gain media, which are injected through the microfluidic channel and ...

Photodegradation and self-healing in a Rhodamine 6G dye and Y$_2$O$_3$ nanoparticle-doped polyurethane random laser [PDF]
One of the fundamental difficulties in implementing organic dyes in random lasers is irreversible photodegradation of the dye molecules, leading to loss of performance and the need to replace the dye. We report the observation of self-healing after photodegradation in a Rhodamine 6G dye and nanoparticle doped polyurethane random laser.

Carbon Paste Electrode Modified Poly-Glutamic Acid (PGA) with Molecularly Imprinted for Detection of Rhodamine B [PDF]
Rhodamine B is a synthetic dye used for coloring textiles, paper and ceramics. In addition, Rhodamine B is also often used for coloring ingredients in food ingredients such as crackers, syrups, candy, cakes, and is often used for coloring lipsticks. The accumulation of Rhodamine B in the body can cause liver, kidney and lymph damage.

Coacervation driven by liquid‐liquid phase separation (LLPS) of biopolymers has garnered increasing attention in biology since this leads to the formation of membraneless organelles capable of performing essential yet largely unknown functions. This review highlights recent advances in coacervates (artificial condensates) composed of low‐molecular ...

Temporally Anticorrelated Subdiffusion in Water Nanofilms on Silica Suggests Near-Surface Viscoelasticity [PDF]
We used single-molecule tracking to probe the local rheology of interfacial water. Fluorescent rhodamine molecules were tracked on silica surfaces as a function of ambient relative humidity, which controlled the thickness of condensed water nanofilms.
