Rhodamine B as a probe for phase transition in liquid solutions [PDF]
Local environment of fluorescent dyes could strongly affect emission dynamics of the latter. In particular, both signal intensities and emission lifetimes are highly sensitive to solvent temperatures. Here, temperature-dependent behavior Rhodamine B fluorescence in water and ethanol solutions was experimentally investigated.

Entangled two photon absorption cross section on the 808 nm region for the common dyes Zinc tetraphenylporphyrin and Rhodamine B [PDF]
We report the measurement of the entangled two photon absorption cross section, $\sigma_E$, at 808 nm on organic chromophores in solution in a low photon flux regime. We performed measurements on Zinc tetraphenylporphyrin (ZnTPP) in Toluene and Rhodamine B (RhB) in Methanol.

Engineering an asymmetric rhodamine dye suitable for developing ratiometric fluorescent probe
Fluorescent probes based on rhodamine skeleton are extensively used in biological imaging. However, the construction of ratiometric fluorescent probes based on the rhodamine skeleton without introducing additional fluorophores is still challenging ...

Microwave-assisted synthesis of rhodamine derivatives
The microwave synthesis of 12 rhodamine-derived imines is described. The present work involves condensation of rhodamine hydrazide with various aromatic aldehydes in ethanol under microwave irradiation. The results obtained indicate that, unlike classical heating, microwave irradiation results in higher yields, shorter reaction time, mild reaction ...

Recent Progress in Small Spirocyclic, Xanthene-Based Fluorescent Probes
The use of fluorescent probes in a multitude of applications is still an expanding field. This review covers the recent progress made in small molecular, spirocyclic xanthene-based probes containing different heteroatoms (e.g., oxygen, silicon, carbon ...

Anisotropic surface plasmon-coupled emission from structured PMMA films doped with Rhodamine B [PDF]
We report observation of anisotropic surface plasmon-coupled emission (SPCE) from structured PMMA films doped with Rhodamine B (RhB) and deposited on silver films. For a given structure, it is observed that relative position of incident laser spot to the structured PMMA and polarization properties of the laser beam can be used to modulate the SPCE ...

MgO Nanoparticles as a Promising Photocatalyst towards Rhodamine B and Rhodamine 6G Degradation
The increasing global requirement for clean and safe drinking water has necessitated the development of efficient methods for the elimination of organic contaminants, especially dyes, from wastewater. This study reports the synthesis of magnesium oxide (MgO) nanoparticles via a simple precipitation approach and their thorough characterization using ...
