Rhodium Catalyzed Regioselective C-H Allylation of Simple Arenes via C-C Bond Activation of Gem-difluorinated Cyclopropanes.

Angewandte Chemie, 2021
Herein, we report a rhodium catalyzed directing-group free regioselective C-H allylation of simple arenes. Readily available gem -difluorinated cyclopropanes can be employed as highly reactive allyl surrogates via a sequence of C-C and C-F bond ...

Rhodium and silicon system: II. Rhodium silicide formation [PDF]

open access: possibleNanotechnology, 2010
Detailed characterizations of rhodium/silicon films prepared by co-deposition using magnetron sputtering have been carried out on silicon substrates at room temperature up to 900 degrees C. The properties of the films were investigated using XPS/UPS, XRD, SIMS, SEM and AFM techniques.

Degradation of polycrystalline rhodium and rhodium nanoparticles

Electrochimica Acta, 2012
Abstract The electrochemical stability of polycrystalline rhodium and rhodium nanoparticles is quantitatively investigated in non-complexing sulfate electrolyte under potential cycling conditions. In situ measurements of the active surface area are complemented by discrete elemental analysis of the electrolyte solution.

Rhodium-Catalyzed C(sp2 )- or C(sp3 )-H Bond Functionalization Assisted by Removable Directing Groups.

Angewandte Chemie, 2019
In recent years, transition-metal-catalyzed C-H activation has become a key strategy in the field of organic synthesis. Rhodium complexes are widely used as catalysts in a variety of C-H functionalization reactions because of their high reactivity and ...

Rhodium

2015
Rhodium (Rh), a rare metal belonging to the platinum group elements, occurs naturally at low concentrations in the Earth’s crust. It is widely used in the glass, chemical, and electronic industries, but its principal application is as an active catalyst material in automobile converters to reduce noxious gas emissions to a less harmful form.

Asymmetric Photocatalysis with Bis-cyclometalated Rhodium Complexes.

Accounts of Chemical Research, 2019
Aspects of sustainability are playing an increasingly important role for the development of new synthetic methods. In this context, the combination of asymmetric catalysis, which is considered one of the most economic strategies to generate nonracemic ...

Stable anchoring of single rhodium atoms by indium in zeolite alkane dehydrogenation catalysts

Science
Maintaining the stability of single-atom catalysts in high-temperature reactions remains extremely challenging because of the migration of metal atoms under these conditions.

Electro-Oxidative C-C Alkenylation by Rhodium(III) Catalysis.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
Electrochemical C-C activations were accomplished by expedient oxidative rhodium(III) catalysis. Thus, oxidative C-C alkenylations proved viable with the aid of electricity, avoiding the use of toxic and/or expensive transition-metal oxidants.

Rhodium segregation in dilute silver-rhodium alloys

Acta Metallurgica et Materialia, 1995
Abstract Segregation of Rh in Ag-based alloys has been studied using the perturbed angular correlation of γ-rays emitted in the nuclear decay of radioactive 111In. The formation of impurity complexes, consisting of an 111In probe atom and one or more Rh atoms, was observed as a function of annealing time and temperature.
