Doped Ta3N5 Semi‐Transparent Photoanode Enabling Stable Solar Redox Flow Cell Operation

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
Synergistic Al:TiO2 underlayer and La doping stabilize semitransparent Ta3N5 photoelectrodes for over 90 h of continuous operation in alkaline solution. The solar redox flow cell demonstrated 12 photocharge–discharge cycles at ∼55% coulombic efficiency using a K4Fe(CN)6|1,5‐DHAQ chemistry. Solar redox flow cells (SRFCs) are photoelectrochemical devices

Interfacial Charge‐Transfer Enhancement via High‐Entropy Alloy Regulated MXene Heterostructures for Asymmetric Supercapacitor Applications

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A novel core‐shell HEA@MXene composite was synthesized to enhance supercapacitor electrochemistry. DFT simulations reveal the role of HEA doping in regulating the MXene interface. The HEA@MXene composite exhibits a high specific capacitance of 872 F g−1 at 1 A g−1 with remarkable stability in 1 M KOH.

Synthesis of α‐C‐Glycoside Conjugates Promoted by 4CzIPN‐Based Porous Organic Polymers Through Giese‐Like Reaction of Glycosyl Bromides in Batch and Continuous Flow

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Visible light and a 4CzIPN‐based porous organic polymer (4CzIPN‐POP) enable Giese‐like coupling of glycosyl bromides with electron‐poor alkenes to access α‐C‐glycoside conjugates. The study shows how heterogeneous thermally activated delayed fluorescence photocatalysis can be combined with continuous flow to overcome light penetration limits and ...

Flexible organic electrodes for batteries: A mini‐review

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
This review surveys progress and challenges in flexible organic electrodes (FOEs) for batteries. We discuss their fabrication methods, electrochemical performance, and mechanical tolerance, covering both planar and fibrous architectures, and compare them with flexible inorganic and rigid organic electrodes.
