Wall pressure signatures of turbulent flow over longitudinal

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
Five triangular riblets longitudinal in the streamwise direction have been studied experimentally. The riblets have pick to pick spaced (s) equal to 1000 μm and with groove height to space ratio (h/s) 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.

Caenogastropods and heterobranch gastropods from the Hettangian deposits of Luxembourg: palaeobiogeography and Early Jurassic faunal recovery in the western Tethys

open access: yesPapers in Palaeontology, Volume 12, Issue 1, January/February 2026.
Abstract We describe the Hettangian Caenogastropoda and Heterobranchia of the Luxembourg Sandstone Formation, a wedge of clastic sediments deposited along the eastern margin of Paris Basin during the Early Jurassic. Five new genera and 11 new species are erected: Bourguetia bipartita sp. nov., Globularia delsatei sp. nov., Oonia feidtorum sp.

Effect of end-wall riblets on radial turbine performance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper presents a detailed study of the impact of manufacturing residual riblets at the rotor hub surface of a radial inflow turbine on the flow within the rotor passages and their contribution to drag reduction.

Experiments on Cavitation Control around a Cylinder Using Biomimetic Riblets

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Experimental investigations were conducted to uncover the impact of cavitation control—through the use of biomimetic riblets on cavitating flows around a circular cylinder.

Effect of Riblets Geometry on Drag Reduction [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2010
The effect of longitudinal riblet surface models (U, V and semi-Circular and U with fillet corner riblets) on the performance of unsymmetrical airfoil (NACA23015) which has been investigated numerically and experimentally. Numerical investigation involve

Adult Suicidality and Therapeutic Engagement: A Systematic Review

open access: yesClinical Psychology &Psychotherapy, Volume 32, Issue 6, November/December 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Engagement in mental health care among adults with suicidality remains significantly low, with limited understanding of the factors influencing treatment retention and dropout. Aims Exploring the factors influencing therapeutic engagement, such as attendance, active participation and completion of therapeutic tasks among adults with

Streamwise oscillation of spanwise velocity at the wall of a channel for turbulent drag reduction

open access: yes, 2009
Steady forcing at the wall of a channel flow is studied via DNS to assess its ability of yielding reductions of turbulent friction drag. The wall forcing consists of a stationary distribution of spanwise velocity that alternates in the streamwise ...

Numerical simulation of flow over a rough bed [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This paper presents results of a direct numerical simulation (DNS) of turbulent flow over the rough bed of an open channel. We consider a hexagonal arrangement of spheres on the channel bed.
