Wall pressure signatures of turbulent flow over longitudinal
Five triangular riblets longitudinal in the streamwise direction have been studied experimentally. The riblets have pick to pick spaced (s) equal to 1000 μm and with groove height to space ratio (h/s) 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.

Wind tunnel investigations of DU97‐W‐300‐mod equipped with riblets
A well‐known 30% thick wind turbine aerofoil was partially equipped with riblets, and lift and drag data were measured in a large acoustic wind tunnel. Drag was reduced up to 10%, and lift‐to‐drag ratio increased by up to 30%.

Surface drag reduction and flow separation control in pelagic vertebrates, with implications for interpreting scale morphologies in fossil taxa [PDF]
Living in water imposes severe constraints on the evolution of the vertebrate body. As a result of these constraints, numerous extant and extinct aquatic vertebrate groups evolved convergent osteological and soft-tissue adaptations.

A covalent adaptable network with dynamic disulfide bonds (DS‐CAN) can rearrange its molecular topology through heating or UV irradiation. When combined with ferromagnetic particles, its photoresponsiveness at room temperature enables contactless, spatiotemporal regulation of dynamic bond exchanges during magnetomechanical actuation.
