Exploring Proteomic and Metabolomic Interactions in a Yeast Consortium Designed to Enhance Bioactive Compounds in Wine Fermentations

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
A consortium of Saccharomyces species enhanced the production of bioactive molecules Proteomic and metabolomic data indicated that the presence of a competitive strain accelerated the growth rate of S. cerevisiae and increase the synthesis of indolic compounds in S.

The role of heat shock proteins in placental ischemic disease: A narrative review of the current literature

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Pre‐eclampsia, placental abruption, and fetal growth restriction (FGR) are collectively referred to as placental ischemic disease (PID). Heat shock proteins (HSPs), originally considered as a response to the heat shock, have a central role in regulating the cellular functions by quality controlling the newly synthesized proteins.
