Water‐Mediated Proton Facilitation for Stable Acidic CO2 Electrocatalysis
Advanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.Proton‐mitigating Cu─O─Ce sites accelerate *CO formation and PCET‐mediated *CO─*CHO coupling, enabling efficient multicarbon production at relatively low current density. Maintaining a retentive acidic pH suppresses parasitic hydrogen evolution and preserves in situ CO2 availability for carbon‐efficient acidic CO2 reduction.
