Applications of Fast Iterative Filtering in NMR Spectroscopy: Baseline Correction

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Chemistry, Volume 63, Issue 9, Page 737-747, September 2025.
Fast iterative filtering is a signal decomposition technique related to empirical mode decomposition. When decomposing NMR data into intrinsic mode functions, FIF effectively partitions broad baseline components from narrow peaks components, even in heavily distorted spectra, for instance, those of paramagnetic compounds.

Characterization of Bioactive Compounds and Evaluation of Antimicrobial Activity of Humulus lupulus (L.) cv. Cascade Leaves Throughout the Growing Season

open access: yesJournal of Sustainable Agriculture and Environment, Volume 4, Issue 3, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Hop (Humulus lupulus L.) is recognised for its abundance of bioactive compounds, which make it a valuable natural resource. While much of the research has focused on the cones, hop leaves remain relatively unexplored, particularly in terms of changes occurring throughout the plant's growing cycle.

Pluripotential Chern-Ricci flows

open access: yesIndiana University Mathematics Journal
Extending a recent theory developed on compact Kähler manifolds by Guedj-Lu-Zeriahi and the author, we define and study pluripotential solutions to degenerate parabolic complex Monge-Ampère equations on compact Hermitian manifolds. Under natural assumptions on the Cauchy boundary data, we show that the pluripotential solution is semi-concave in time ...

Retrospective Cross‐Sectional Study of Occupational Infection Risk With Zoonotic Pathogens in Austrian Veterinary Practitioners in the Year 2022

open access: yesVeterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 11, Issue 5, September 2025.
• Vaccination rates against rabies and TBEV and accordingly the respective seroprevalence rates exceed 90% among Austrian veterinary practitioners. • The prevalence of antibodies against HEV and the colonisation with MRSA increases with the age of the study participants from 6.2%/6.2% in the youngest age group to 23.3%/21.9% in the oldest group. • MRSA

A note on Kähler–Ricci flow

open access: yesMathematische Zeitschrift, 2011
Let $g(t)$ with $t\in [0,T)$ be a complete solution to the Kaehler-Ricci flow: $\frac{d}{dt}g_{i\bar j}=-R_{i\bar j}$ where $T$ may be $\infty$. In this article, we show that the curvatures of $g(t)$ is uniformly bounded if the solution $g(t)$ is uniformly equivalet.

Combining 3‐D Deep Electrical Resistivity Tomography With Magnetic Surveys to Investigate Complex Tectonic Basins: A Case Study From the Central Apennines Seismic Belt (Italy)

open access: yesTectonics, Volume 44, Issue 9, September 2025.
Abstract We use an innovative geophysical approach to reconstruct the deep structure of Campo Felice, an important extensional basin in the central Apennines (Italy) where active crustal extension is accommodated by normal faults capable of generating earthquakes of magnitude MW 6+.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Four Decades of Shareholder Activism Research

open access: yesCorporate Governance: An International Review, Volume 33, Issue 5, Page 946-984, September 2025.
ABSTRACT Research Questions/Issue In this bibliometric review of shareholder activism literature spanning 1983–2021, we pursue two objectives. Firstly, we investigate the degree of interdisciplinarity in the field, and second, we scrutinize publication trends, foundational knowledge, core topics, and emerging thematic trends, exploring the trajectory ...
