ABSTRACT Eco‐friendly construction practices have emerged as a cornerstone of modern development. Due to the substantial carbon emissions from cement production, there is a growing demand for supplementary cementitious materials. This study investigated the synergistic effects of two different wastes, silica‐rich rice husk ash (RHA) and calcium‐rich ...

Fiber treatment improved sugarcane bagasse by increasing cellulose content to 71.7% and crystallinity to 91.36%. Among composites, PLA–CS–UASCB showed the best overall performance, maintaining tensile strength and modulus close to pure PLA while delivering the highest antimicrobial activity, reducing E. coli by 20.28% and S. aureus by 28.33%.
