Organic–Inorganic Hybrid Materials from Vegetable Oils

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, Volume 45, Issue 23, December 2024.
Vegetable oils (VOs) have emerged as viable alternatives to petro‐based feedstocks for polymeric materials but often require adjustment of properties via composite formation with inorganic compounds. VO functionalities are advantageous for compatibilization routes and strategies on hybridization strategies are reviewed.

Antidiarrheal, anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant effects of Anethum graveolens L. fruit extract on castor oil‐induced diarrhea in rats

open access: yesNeurogastroenterology &Motility, Volume 36, Issue 11, November 2024.
In this graphical abstract we demonstrated the antidiarrheal, anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant actions of Anethum graveolens L. fruit extract induced with castor oil in rats. The AGFAE may be an effective treatment for inhibiting intestinal transit in diarrheal disorders such as that induced by castor oil.
