Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Clinical Results of Localized Alveolar Ridge Augmentation with Bone Grafts Harvested from Symphysis in Comparison with Ramus

open access: yesJournal of Dental Research, Dental Clinics, Dental Prospects, 2007

Background and aims. Autogenous onlay bone grafting is a common procedure for alveolar ridge augmentation. It has been suggested that the amount of healed bone after this technique would be significantly less than ...

Horizontal Alveolar Ridge Augmentation with Xenogenic Block Grafts Compared with Autogenous Bone Block Grafts for Implant-retained Rehabilitation: a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

open access: yeseJournal of Oral Maxillofacial Research, 2023
Objectives: The objective of the present systematic review and meta-analysis was to test the 0-hypothesis of no difference in implant treatment outcome after horizontal alveolar ridge augmentation with xenogenic block compared with autogenous bone block.

Two‐Dimensional Conjugated Metal Organic Frameworks with Dual Metal Catalytic Active Sites Enhance POD Activity for Antibacterial Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new class of Cu, Ni bimetallic 2D cMOF (CuNi‐HHTP 2D cMOF) featuring dual catalytic sites and high delocalized electronic structure for boosting POD performance. The CuNi‐HHTP 2D‐cMOF enhances the conversion kinetics of H2O2 to ROS, which subsequently enhances antibacterial activity and accelerates the healing of oral ulcers, with macroscopic wound ...

Alveolar Ridge Regeneration Using Flexible Allogeneic Laminar Bone for Implant Site Development: A Case Series

open access: yesDentistry Journal
Background: Horizontal alveolar ridge deficiencies resulting from tooth loss, implant failure, trauma, or advanced ridge atrophy frequently require augmentation before prosthetically driven implant placement can be achieved.

Modulating Calcium Homeostasis via a Biomimetic Scaffold to Rescue Diabetic Ischemic Wounds

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This strategy addresses impaired microcirculation and loss of extracellular matrix (ECM) guidance in diabetic wound healing. Musc@CP, a nanofibrous dressing combining an ECM‐mimetic chitosan‐pullulan scaffold with muscone, enhances perfusion by attenuating intracellular Ca2+ overload‐associated endothelial dysfunction.

Similarity‐Enhanced Representation Learning of Non‐Canonical Amino Acids for Therapeutic Peptide Modeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Non‐canonical amino acids (ncAAs) enhance peptide therapeutics but remain difficult to model computationally. SinCAA, a similarity‐enhanced pretraining framework, jointly optimizes contrastive learning guided by a novel conformational similarity metric with masked node reconstruction, capturing both functional relationships and chemical identity of ...
