Sleep Reactivity Amplifies the Impact of Pre‐Sleep Cognitive Arousal on Sleep Disturbances
This study investigates how sleep reactivity moderates the ‘stress‐pre‐sleep arousal‐sleep’ pathway in university students. At the within‐individual level, both high and low sleep‐reactive groups showed increased pre‐sleep cognitive arousal and sleep disruptions in response to elevated daily stress.

The function $G(z) = \int_0^\infty \xi^{z-1}(1+\exp(\xi))^{-1} \, d\xi$ is analytic and has the same zeros as the Riemann zeta function in the critical strip $D = \{z \in {\mathbf C} : 0 < \Re z < 1\}$.

Daytime Performance in Insomnia Patients
ABSTRACT Patients suffering from Nonorganic Insomnia (NI) are burdened by significant subjective daytime impairments which contribute to the reduction of quality of life for the patients and lead to greater healthcare utilization and increased indirect costs.

Sleep and Maladaptive Personality Traits: A Twin Study
ABSTRACT Sleep is essential for human functioning, but little attention has been paid to the interplay between sleep and maladaptive personality traits. We examined genetic and environmental associations between sleep and four maladaptive domains (MDs)—Negative Affectivity, Detachment, Disinhibition, and Psychoticism—within the framework of the DSM‐5 ...

ABSTRACT While previous research has identified emotional dysregulation and repetitive thinking as contributors to insomnia, the interplay between these factors remains unclear. Building upon data previously collected in our laboratory, this exploratory study extends prior findings by examining the mediating role of rumination, worry and rapid eye ...

Change Point Analysis for Functional Data Using Empirical Characteristic Functionals
ABSTRACT We develop a new method to detect change points in the distribution of functional data based on integrated CUSUM processes of empirical characteristic functionals. Asymptotic results are presented under conditions allowing for low‐order moments and serial dependence in the data establishing the limiting null‐distribution of the proposed test ...

Equivariant toric geometry and Euler–Maclaurin formulae
Abstract We first investigate torus‐equivariant motivic characteristic classes of toric varieties, and then apply them via the equivariant Riemann–Roch formalism to prove very general Euler–Maclaurin‐type formulae for full‐dimensional simple lattice polytopes.

Can Flash Flood Risk Index Be an Early Warning Signal of Flash Floods in Ungauged Basin?
ABSTRACT Flash flooding is amongst the most severe natural hazards, causing widespread socioeconomic impacts across both wet regions and drylands. In ungauged mountainous basins, effective risk warning based on hydrodynamic modelling is challenging due to sparse hydrological observations and complex terrain.

Cointegrating Polynomial Regressions With Power Law Trends
ABSTRACT The common practice in cointegrating polynomial regressions (CPRs) often confines nonlinearities in the variable of interest to stochastic trends, thereby overlooking the possibility that they may be caused by deterministic components. As an extension, we propose univariate and multivariate CPRs that incorporate power law deterministic trends.
