The weak (1,1) boundedness of Fourier integral operators with complex phases

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Let T$T$ be a Fourier integral operator of order −(n−1)/2$-(n-1)/2$ associated with a canonical relation locally parametrised by a real‐phase function. A fundamental result due to Seeger, Sogge and Stein proved in the 90's gives the boundedness of T$T$ from the Hardy space H1$H^1$ into L1$L^1$. Additionally, it was shown by T.

Riemann's method of integration. Its extensions with an application

open access: yesCollectanea Mathematica, 1953
The classical method of integration of hypcrbolic differential equations, due to Riemann, is developed and extended. The cases in which the Cauchy data is discontinuous and the initial curve is cut by a characteristic in more than one point, are considered. An application of the extensions to onedimensional gas dynamics is made.

Osculating geometry and higher‐order distance Loci

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract We discuss the problem of optimizing the distance function from a given point, subject to polynomial constraints. A key algebraic invariant that governs its complexity is the Euclidean distance degree, which pertains to first‐order tangency. We focus on the data locus of points possessing at least one critical point of the distance function ...

Seasonal Shift of Dissolved Organic Matter Stoichiometry in the Surface North Pacific Subtropical Gyre: Regulation by Enhanced N2 Fixation and DOP Utilization

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 4, 28 February 2026.
Abstract Dissolved organic matter (DOM) pool acts as both nutrient source and sink in the oligotrophic surface ocean. However, the drivers of seasonal variations in DOM stoichiometry and their relationship to nutrient cycling remain poorly understood.
