A general theory of inverse welfare functions
This paper develops a general theory to recover the inverse welfare function that rationalizes a given tax schedule as optimal. Our theory allows for complex environments including the presence of multidimensional tax schedules, bunching/jumping behavior, optimization frictions, general equilibrium effects, and externalities.

Abstract We develop a delay‐aware estimation and control framework for a non‐isothermal axial dispersion tubular reactor modelled as a coupled parabolic‐hyperbolic PDE system with recycle‐induced state delay. The infinite‐dimensional dynamics are preserved without spatial discretization by representing the delay as a transport PDE and adopting a late ...

Vanishing Morrey integrability for Riesz potentials in Morrey-Orlicz spaces
Our aim in this paper is to establish vanishing Morrey integrability for Riesz potentials of functions in Morrey-Orlicz spaces. We discuss the size of the exceptional sets by using a capacity and Hausdorff measure. We also give Trudinger-type exponential

Optimal embeddings of generalized Bessel and Riesz potentials
We study a space of potentials on the n-dimensional Euclidean space that are constructed on the basis of rearrangement-invariant spaces (RISs) by means of convolutions with kernels of general form.

In this paper, we give Sobolev inequalities for Riesz potentials of functions in non-homogeneous central Musielak–Orlicz–Morrey spaces [Formula: see text], which is an improvement of our results [T. Ohno and T. Shimomura, Boundedness of maximal operators

Plumage coloration is widely recognized as an important component in intraspecific communication. Our aim was to examine the variation of oxidative parameters and their associations with the coloration of two different nestling plumage traits in collared flycatchers (Ficedula albicollis).

On behaviour of the Riesz and generalized Riesz potentials as order tends to zero
In this paper, we present the Riesz potentials I-alpha and the generalized Riesz potentials I-v(alpha) as the families of positive linear operators, depending on parameter alpha > 0.

Some integral estimates on the cones of functions with the monotonicity conditions
In this paper we obtain estimates for the integrals of monotone functions arising in the study of the covering of various cones of functions with monotonicity conditions.

Building a Digital Twin for Material Testing: Model Reduction and Data Assimilation
ABSTRACT The rapid advancement of industrial technologies, data collection, and handling methods has paved the way for the widespread adoption of digital twins (DTs) in engineering, enabling seamless integration between physical systems and their virtual counterparts.

Two weighted inequalities for B-fractional integrals
In this paper we prove a two weighted inequality for Riesz potentials I α , γ f $I_{\alpha,\gamma} f$ (B-fractional integrals) associated with the Laplace-Bessel differential operator Δ B = ∑ i = 1 n ∂ 2 ∂ x i 2 + ∑ j = 1 k γ j x j ∂ ∂ x j $\Delta_{B ...
