Shape Derivatives of the Eigenvalues of the de Rham Complex for Lipschitz Deformations and Variable Coefficients: Part II

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 14244-14265, August 2026.
ABSTRACT In this second part of our series of papers, we develop an abstract framework suitable for de Rham complexes that depend on a parameter belonging to an arbitrary Banach space. Our primary focus is on spectral perturbation problems and the differentiability of eigenvalues with respect to perturbations of the involved parameters. As a byproduct,

Riesz Transforms on Compact Riemannian Symmetric Spaces of Rank One

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we prove mixed norm estimates for Riesz transforms related to Laplace–Beltrami operators on compact Riemannian symmetric spaces of rank one. These operators are closely related to the Riesz transforms for Jacobi polynomials expansions.

Riesz basis property of Timoshenko beams with boundary feedback control

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2003
A Timoshenko beam equation with boundary feedback control is considered. By an abstract result on the Riesz basis generation for the discrete operators in the Hilbert spaces, we show that the closed-loop system is a Riesz system, that is, the sequence of

Linear Toroidal‐Inertial Waves on A Differentially Rotating Sphere with Application to Helioseismology: Modeling, Forward and Inverse Problems

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 49, Issue 12, Page 14122-14148, August 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper develops a mathematical framework for interpreting observations of solar inertial waves in an idealized setting. Under the assumption of purely toroidal linear waves on the sphere, the stream function of the flow satisfies a fourth‐order scalar equation.

Variable Bounded Variation Spaces in the Riesz sense [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Resumen: En esta tesis se introducen los espacios de variación acotada en el sentido de Riesz con exponente variable ((RBVp(.)), se demuestran algunos resultados de inmersión y se demuestra un teorema de representación tipo Riesz que plantea una ...

Well‐Posedness and Analyticity of Solutions to the Stationary MHD Equations

open access: yesZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, Volume 106, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT We consider the stationary problem of the MHD equations in R3$\mathbb {R}^3$. The aim of this article is to show existence, uniqueness, regularity, and analyticity of solutions in the scaling invariant homogeneous Besov space Ḃp,q−1+3/p$\dot{B}^{-1 + 3/p}_{p, q}$ for 1⩽p<3$1 \leqslant p < 3$ and 1⩽q⩽∞$1 \leqslant q \leqslant \infty$.

Inversion of Riesz Potentials for Dunkl Transform

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2018
The inversion of Riesz potentials for Dunkl transform when G=Z2d is given by using the generalized wavelet transforms. It is also proved that the Riesz potentials Iακ are automorphisms on the Semyanistyi-Lizorkin spaces.

Convergence of Hermite expansions in modulation spaces

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract The aim of this paper is to give an elementary proof that the Hermite expansion of a function f$f$ in the modulation space Mp(R)$M^p({\mathbb {R}})$ converges to f$f$ in Mp(R)$M^p({\mathbb {R}})$ when 1

Pervasive and weakly pervasive pre-Riesz spaces

open access: yes, 2019
Pervasive pre-Riesz spaces are defined by means of vector lattice covers. To avoid the computation of a vector lattice cover, we give two distinct intrinsic characterizations of pervasive pre-Riesz spaces.

Riesz Transform Characterization of Weighted Hardy Spaces Associated with Schrödinger Operators

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2016
We characterize the weighted local Hardy spaces hρ1(ω) related to the critical radius function ρ and weights ω∈A1ρ,∞(Rn) by localized Riesz transforms R^j; in addition, we give a characterization of weighted Hardy spaces HL1(ω) via Riesz transforms ...
