Determinants of dietary diversity among women of reproductive age in two different agro-ecological zones of Rongai Sub-County, Nakuru, Kenya

open access: yesFood & Nutrition Research, 2019
Background: Empirical evidence on the link between agrobiodiversity and dietary diversity appears to be inconclusive. Thus, there arises a need to determine other factors that could significantly influence dietary diversity in different agro-ecological ...

Sedimentation record in the Konkan-Kerala Basin: implications for the evolution of the Western Ghats and the Western Indian passive margin [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The Konkan and Kerala Basins constitute a major depocentre for sediment from the onshore hinterland of Western India and as such provide a valuable record of the timing and magnitude of Cenozoic denudation along the continental margin.

Asymmetric continental deformation during South Atlantic rifting along southern Brazil and Namibia [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017

Morphology and paleoecology of a hybodontiform with serrated teeth, Priohybodus arambourgi, from the Late Jurassic of northeastern Brazil

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Hybodontiformes was a diverse, successful, and important group of shark‐like chondrichthyans known from a variety of ecosystems. Some representatives of the order had a wide palaeogeographic distribution, as is the case with Priohybodus arambourgi. With a multicuspidate crown, P. arambourgi was the first hybodontiform to develop fully serrated

Devonian organogenic buildings of the Urals and adjacent regions of East-Europian Platform and West Siberian

open access: yesЛитосфера, 2015

Mechanisms of near‐normal sea water dolomitisation: Mesohaline‐reflux or syn‐depositional?

open access: yesThe Depositional Record, EarlyView.
This study investigates the dolomitisation of the Eocene Dammam Formation on the Arabian Plate using petrographic, mineralogical, geochemical and isotopic analyses. The findings reveal two distinct dolomite types, formed primarily through normal‐to‐mesohaline sea water dolomitisation, challenging previous models such as sabkha‐meteoric mixing.
