Giant Right Atrium: An Extreme Case of Idiopathic Dilation of the Right Atrium
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2014An adult with a grossly dilated right atrium of unknown etiology is presented. The right atrial volume was estimated at more than 1,900 mL, with normal sized left atrium and ventricles. She presented in atrial fibrillation and right ventricular failure.

Cardiac Tuberculoma of the Right Atrium
Journal of Cardiac Surgery, 2011We report a patient with a large mass in the right atrium with tricuspid valve involvement resulting in significant stenosis, which was a tuberculoma without active pulmonary disease. Cardiac tuberculoma is rare and usually involves the pericardium. Myocardial involvement is a very rare occurrence.

[Right atrium myxoid chondrosarcoma].
Revista brasileira de cirurgia cardiovascular : orgao oficial da Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia Cardiovascular, 2009We report a case of a 46 years-old woman, Caucasian, with hypertension and a primary diagnosis of infectious endocarditis. A transthoracic echocardiogram was performed suggesting right atrium myxoma. The patient was submitted to surgery, which found a tumor mass with a jelly-like exterior.
