Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Right to Resistance. Could it be built in peace?
The Right to Resistance (DR) as legal and political fiction, generates scenarios of complex reasoning, as a right or as an anti-right. In Latin America, it has become positive in some of its legal systems, however, its interpretation remains subjective ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

The Basis of the Right to Resistance in the Legal Thought of Arthur Kaufmann
This paper discusses two of the main theories regarding the right to resistance: first, that the right to resistance is that of resistance against injustice; and secondly, that the right to resistance is the original, or most basic of all rights.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

The right to resistance from the cosmopolitan point of view
Fonamentar el dret de resistència des del punt de vista cosmopolita suposa que hom pugui deduir-lo dels principis de la inapropiabilitat de la Terra i de responsabilitat per la humanitat.
