Optimization of rigid-flexible coupling skin scheme for continuous variable curvature trailing edge wing [PDF]

open access: yes
Variable camber wing structure is a hot topic in many scientific research institutions. In order to improve the deformation accuracy of the continuously variable trailing edge structure, it is necessary to design a more reasonable structure.

Semiconducting Polymers Post‐Functionalized With Ureido‐Pyrimidinone for Robust Stretchable Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The design of intrinsically robust stretchable semiconducting polymers was achieved through OTBS‐mediated post‐functionalization of PDPP2T side chains with UPy units, generating dual hydrogen‐bonding motifs comprising weaker urethane linkages and strong quadruple UPy interactions along the long alkyl side chain, which is crucial for achieving desirable

Global Impact Dynamic Modeling and Verification of a Flexible Beam with Large Overall Motion

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2013
The theoretical modeling, numerical simulation, and experimental verification for the impact dynamics of a flexible beam with large overall motion are researched. Based on the rigid-flexible coupling dynamic theory of flexible multibody system, the rigid-

Tissue‐Adhesive Fabric‐Based Bioelectronics for Wearable and Implantable Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An implantable and wearable bioelectronic textile (iTextile) is introduced as a unified platform bridging wearable and implantable systems. By integrating a self‐healing polymer, stretchable silk fabric, conductive composite electrodes, and an adhesive hydrogel, the platform enables conformal, stable interfacing with soft tissues. The iTextile supports

Tuning Mechanoreceptor Signaling Enhances the Adjuvant Effect of Biomaterial Vaccines

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Matrix stiffness serves as an independent immunological signal in biomaterial vaccines. Stiffer microporous hydrogel vaccines enhance dendritic cell maturation and migration to draining lymph nodes, promote T follicular helper cell expansion through Yap/Taz signaling, and increase antigen‐specific antibody production.

An Assembly Accuracy Analysis Method for Weak Rigid Components

open access: yesMachines
Most existing assembly accuracy analysis methods focus on rigid assemblies or assume assemblies to be rigid bodies, neglecting the influence of assembly deformation in weak rigid components (WRCs) such as thin-walled structures, cantilever structures ...

Polarization‐Dependent Synaptic‐Like Electro‐Optical Response in Ferroelectric Nematic Liquid Crystals

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric nematic liquid crystals (FNLCs) offer fast, tunable polarization and low‐voltage operation but suffer from poor polarization retention at zero field. Semiconductor‐modified FNLCs enhance polarization retention and exhibit short‐ and long‐term electro‐optical responses, while also supporting spike‐type signal integrations.
