We demonstrate an indirect magneto‐optical coupling mechanism that overrides the symmetry‐induced suppression of s‐polarized TMOKE. A quasi‐two‐dimensional grating coordinates orthogonal resonances to establish a near‐zero reflection background and maximal near‐field asymmetry, achieving a theoretical‐limit TMOKE of ∼2.

Rectangular wave-shaped surface-relief plasmonic gratings (RSR-PGs) have been fabricated from a hybrid polymer by employing a simple nanoimprint photocuring lithography technique using a silicon template, followed by gold nanolayer metallization on top ...

Mechanically reconfigurable metasurfaces enable high‐capacity optical storage and holography due to low cost/complexity. A differentiable inverse design framework maps meta‐atom geometries to multichannel optical responses via deep neural networks. Rotatable cascaded metasurfaces optimized through this pipeline achieve pixel‐level holography with 288 ...

Polarization-Independent Two-Layer Grating With Five-Port Splitting Output Under Normal Incidence
In this paper, we report a two-layer five-port diffraction grating by a polarization-independent design under normal incidence. To be different from conventional five-port gratings, initially, we design a novel two-layer grating with operation in ...

ABSTRACT Metal oxide (MOx)‐based NO2 gas sensors typically require high temperatures or ultraviolet light, limiting their practical use. To enable visible‐light activation at room temperature, efficient and stable photosensitizers should be integrated with nanostructured MOx hosts.

In plasmonic systems, quasi‐BICs are constrained by nonradiative losses, making radiative–absorptive balance essential. We analyze substrate‐induced hybridization in silver metasurfaces, showing that thickness relative to the skin depth yields three sensitivity regimes. Dual symmetry control tunes radiative and absorptive decay, optimizing coupling and

Diffraction grating theory with RCWA or the C method
Diffraction gratings are often used in optical metrology. When an electromagnetic wave is incident on a grating, the periodicity of the grating causes a multiplicity of diffraction orders.

Sensitivity of a Label-Free Guided-Mode Resonant Optical Biosensor with Different Modes
Sensitivity is a key factor in the performance of a sensor. To achieve maximum guided-mode resonant optical biosensor sensitivity, a comparison of biosensor sensitivity for Transverse Electric (TE) and Transverse Magnetic (TM) modes based on the ...
