On the computation of the HNF of a module over the ring of integers of a number field
We present a variation of the modular algorithm for computing the Hermite normal form of an $\mathcal O_K$-module presented by Cohen, where $\mathcal O_K$ is the ring of integers of a number field $K$. An approach presented in (Cohen 1996) based on reductions modulo ideals was conjectured to run in polynomial time by Cohen, but so far, no such proof ...

Characterizations of regular local rings via syzygy modules of the residue field [PDF]
Let $R$ be a commutative Noetherian local ring with residue field $k$. We show that if a finite direct sum of syzygy modules of $k$ surjects onto `a semidualizing module' or `a non-zero maximal Cohen-Macaulay module of finite injective dimension', then $R$ is regular.

The main concern of this book is the study of Smarandache analogue properties of near-rings and Smarandache near-rings; so it does not promise to cover all concepts or the proofs of all ...

Research on a new magnetic-field-modulated brushless double-rotor machine with sinusoidal-permeance modulating ring [PDF]
The magnetic-field-modulated brushless double-rotor machine (MFM-BDRM), composed of a stator, a modulating ring rotor, and a PM rotor, is a kind of power-split device for hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). In this paper, a new MFM-BDRM with sinusoidal-permeance modulating ring named Sinusoidal-Permeance-Modulating-Ring Brushless Double-Rotor Machine ...

Enhanced spin wave propagation in magnonic rings by bias field modulation [PDF]
We simulate the spin wave (SW) dynamics in ring structures and obtain the ω − k dispersion relations corresponding to the output waveguide. Different bias field configurations affect the transfer of SW power from one arm of the structure to the other arm.

On the Ring of Integers in an Algebraic Number Field as a representation Module of Galois Group [PDF]
1. Introduction. It is known that there are only three rationally inequivalent classes of indecomposable integral representations of a cyclic group of prime order l. The representations of these classes are: (I) identical representation,(II) rationally irreducible representation of degree l – 1,(III) indecomposable representation consisting of one ...

On maximal immediate extensions of valued division algebras [PDF]
We show an extension theorem for strictly contracting bilinear mappings into a spherically complete valued vector space and we apply this result to prove that every maximal valued division algebra having the same characteristic as its residue division ...

LINKAGE AND DUALITY OF MODULES
Martsinkovsky and Strooker [13] recently introduced module theoretic linkage using syzygy and transpose. This generalization brings possibility of much application of linkage, especially, to homological theory of modules. In the present paper, we connect
