Engineering Rings in Network Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research
Network materials can be crystalline or amorphous solids, or even liquids, where typically directional interactions link the building blocks together, resulting in a physical representation of a mathematical object, called a graph or equivalently a ...

MC2 RINGS AND WQD RINGS [PDF]

open access: yesGlasgow Mathematical Journal, 2009
AbstractWe introduce in this paper the concepts of rings characterized by minimal one-sided ideals and concern ourselves with rings containing an injective maximal left ideal. Some known results for idempotent reflexive rings and left HI rings can be extended to left MC2 rings.

Prolonged Corrected QT Interval as an Early Electrocardiographic Marker of Cyclophosphamide‐Induced Cardiotoxicity in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Patients

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Cyclophosphamide (CY) is associated with potentially fatal cardiotoxicity, yet no electrocardiographic indices have been established for early detection of CY‐induced cardiomyopathy. This study aimed to determine whether corrected QT interval (QTc) prolongation can predict early onset of CY‐related cardiac dysfunction in pediatric ...

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

Improved Outcomes for Older Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults With Neuroblastoma in the Post‐Immunotherapy Era: An Updated Report From the International Neuroblastoma Risk Group

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background We describe clinical and biologic characteristics of neuroblastoma in older children, adolescents, and young adults (OCAYA); describe survival outcomes in the post‐immunotherapy era; and identify if there is an age cut‐off that best discriminates outcomes.

Psychological Safety Among Interprofessional Pediatric Oncology Teams in Germany: A Nationwide Survey

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Psychological safety (PS) is essential for teamwork, communication, and patient safety in complex healthcare environments. In pediatric oncology, interprofessional collaboration occurs under high emotional and organizational demands. Low PS may increase stress, burnout, and adverse events.

Polynomial Rings over Pseudovaluation Rings [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2007
LetRbe a ring. Letσbe an automorphism ofR. We define aσ-divided ring and prove the following. (1) LetRbe a commutative pseudovaluation ring such thatx∉Pfor anyP∈Spec(R[x,σ]). ThenR[x,σ]is also a pseudovaluation ring. (2) LetRbe aσ-divided ring such thatx∉Pfor anyP∈Spec(R[x,σ]). ThenR[x,σ]is also aσ-divided ring.

Characterizing Parental Concerns About Lasting Impacts of Treatment in Children With B‐Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background B‐acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, and while most children in high‐resource settings are cured, therapy carries risks for long‐term toxicities. Understanding parents’ concerns about these late effects is essential to guide anticipatory support and inform evolving therapeutic approaches ...

Clinical Characteristics and Prognostic Risk Factors for Pediatric B‐Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma: A Multicenter Retrospective Cohort Study for China Net Childhood Lymphoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background B‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B‐LBL) represents a rare variety of non‐Hodgkin lymphoma, with limited research on its biology, progression, and management. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical characteristics of 256 patients aged ≤18 years who received treatment under the China Net Childhood Lymphoma (CNCL)‐
