WiFi-RITA Positioning: Enhanced Crowdsourcing Positioning Based on Massive Noisy User Traces

IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2021
Traditional WiFi positioning relies on a predefined radio map, which is labor-intensive and time-consuming for professionals. Recently, crowdsourcing has emerged as a promising solution for facilitating WiFi positioning. To crowdsense a radio map, traces

Lovely Rita

Proceedings of the Sixth International Conference on Tangible, Embedded and Embodied Interaction, 2012
"Lovely Rita" is a dress constructed solely out of variations on a single modular unit: a zipper and the embedded light array it controls. The zipper module is both the fundamental structural unit of the garment as well as a versatile interactive design element, which provides the wearer with the flexibility to dynamically shape the look and feel of ...

Exemplary programming in RITA

ACM SIGART Bulletin, 1977
This paper describes the development of a RITA agent for Exemplary Programming (EP). The EP agent learns new facts and stores them in a data base and can learn new procedures for data manipulation. Both the EP agent and the programs it creates are written as sets of IF-THEN rules (production systems) in RITA: the Rule-directed Interactive Transaction ...

Transcriptomic responses to pollution in natural riverine environment in Rita rita

Environmental Research, 2020
Aquatic pollution is one of the most common threats to the ecological health of aquatic ecosystems and its biota. Fish as lower vertebrates are excellent model to study the impact and responses of aquatic pollution. In fish, gill is the main organ indicator of whole animal health as it comes in contact with the surrounding water and absorbs many ...

Induced breeding of the riverine catfish Rita rita

2008
The paper reports the first incidence of successful induction of breeding in the riverine catfish Rita rita using carp pituitary gland (PG) extract. A breeding trial using four PG doses viz. 80, 100, 120 and 140mg/kg body weight of fish was conducted to optimize the dose of pituitary gland (PG) extract in terms of induction of ovulation in female.

Histochemical characterization of glycoproteins in the buccal epithelium of the catfish, Rita rita

Acta Histochemica, 2007
Glycoproteins (GPs) elaborated by the buccal epithelium of the catfish, Rita rita, were analysed by a range of histochemical methods. These included methods for the characterization and simultaneous visualization of GPs with oxidizable vicinal diols, with O-acyl sugars, with O-sulphate esters and with sialic acid residues with and without O-acyl ...
