Astrocytic ET‐1 System Determines Microglia Phenotype Following Spinal Cord Injury

The study reveals that astrocytic ET‐1 system is solely activated by thrombin following SCI via RhoA/NF‐κB and MAPKs/NF‐κB signal pathway. The release of astrocytic ET‐1 drives microglia polarization toward M1 phenotype through YAP signaling via ETA and ETB receptors.

FOXM1 Protects Against Myocardial Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury in Rodent and Porcine Models by Suppressing MKRN1‐Dependent LKB1 Ubiquitination

FOXM1 maintains mitochondrial bioenergetic function by inhibiting MKRN1‐mediated ubiquitination of LKB1 in cardiomyocytes. Rapid and Ultra‐Sensitive SARS‐CoV‐2 Subgenomic RNA Detection Using Single‐Molecule With a Large Transistor‐SiMoT Bioelectronic Platform

The single‐molecule with a large transistor‐SiMoT is proposed for the detection of the subgenomic RNA of SARS‐CoV‐2, achieving a diagnostic sensitivity of 98.0% and a specificity of 87.8%. The SiMoT technology, currently at TRL‐5, is suitable for point‐of‐care settings and delivers the result to the end user in 30 min.

Remote Control of Eukaryotic Gene Expression by a Modular Ultrasound‐Responsive RNA Toolkit

A modular RNA‐based sonogenetic toolkit enables remote control of gene expression in eukaryotes by releasing small molecule modulators from ultrasound‐responsive carriers. These modulators activate engineered mRNA elements such as riboswitches, leading to tunable protein expression.
