On the RNG theory of turbulence
Physics of Fluids A: Fluid Dynamics, 1992The Yakhot and Orszag [J. Sci. Comput. 1, 3 (1986)] RNG theory of turbulence has generated a number of scaling law constants in reasonable quantitative agreement with experiments. The theory itself is highly mathematical, and its assumptions and approximations are not easily appreciated, particularly since several rather unconventional artifices are ...

Performance Analysis of Linux RNG in Virtualized Environments
Proceedings of the 2015 ACM Workshop on Cloud Computing Security Workshop, 2015We consider performance of Linux Random Number Generator(RNG) in virtualized environments and ask, (i) if the emulated hardware can provide sufficient entropy sources for the RNG and, (ii) if the RNG output of the host and the guest are isolated. These are important questions because insufficient entropy results in {\em entropy starvation}, and the ...

Numerical simulation of line puff Via RNG ϰ - ϵ model
Communications in Nonlinear Science and Numerical Simulation, 1996Abstract The time evolution of a line puff is studied using the renormalization group (RNG) κ - ϵ model. The predicted puff flow and mixing rate are substantially similar to those obtained from the standard k -ϵ model, and are well-supported by experimental data.

DNG and RNG Phylogenetic Single Cell Probes.
1999Abstract : Solid Phase Synthesis of DNG has been perfected. Also, solid phase synthetic procedures for mixed DNA and DNG sequences are now at hand. Studies of the protection of the DNA component, form exo- and endo-nuclease hydrolysis, DNG moiety have been initiated.
