Implementation of RNS addition and RNS multiplication into FPGAs
Proceedings. IEEE Symposium on FPGAs for Custom Computing Machines (Cat. No.98TB100251), 2002We investigate whether arithmetic operations based on Residue Number Systems (RNS) are cost-effective solutions to implement DSP applications into reconfigurable hardware. We simulated several RNS addition and multiplication implementations by varying the RNS parameters.

Efficient RNS Converter via Two-Part RNS
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2014In this paper, a high speed residue to binary converter for three moduli set {2n - 1, 2n + 1, 2n} is presented in this paper, which uses two-part RNS and is based on mixed radix conversion (MRC). By using two-part RNS, the number of modulus in each part decreases; therefore the complexity of reverse converter is reduced.

Nurse Educator, 2005
While most employers want more baccalaureate prepared registered nurses (RNs) in their staffing mix, returning to school is not easy for the RN. This qualitative program evaluation study explores the perceptions of 6 RNs who completed an on-campus, part-time baccalaureate program.

Residency and Fellowship Programs for RNs and Advanced Practice RNs
JONA: The Journal of Nursing Administration, 2015In this month's column, the Senior Accreditation Operations Manager of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) discusses the value of nursing residency programs and current discussion in the profession, along with criteria offered by the ANCC to support this imperative for both RNs and advanced practice RNs including new graduates and those ...

Residue Number Systems (RNS) allow the distribution of large dynamic range computations over small modular rings, which allows the speed up of computations. This feature is well known, and already used in both DSP and cryptography. Most of implementations use RNS bases of three elements to reduce the complexity of conversions, but if can increase the ...

An analogue to RNS converter based on RNS properties
2004 IEEE Aerospace Conference Proceedings (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8720), 2005The space vehicles require more and more processing capabilities. This to obtain different advantages: device flexibility, better employment of the frequency spectrum, improving quality and reliability of transmission, preprocessing of the captured data, and so on. These advantages are obtained by implementing onboard complex algorithms.

A novel approach to the definition of the roots of unity in the RNS (residue number system) is presented. The definition is based on a suitable polar representation of the complex residues. The resulting RNS Fourier transform provides an algorithm for performing circular convolutions characterized by flexibility in terms of length, computational cost ...
