Magnetoencephalography (MEG) Data Processing in Epilepsy Patients with Implanted Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS) Devices

open access: yesBrain Sciences
Drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE) is often treated with surgery or neuromodulation. Specifically, responsive neurostimulation (RNS) is a widely used therapy that is programmed to detect abnormal brain activity and intervene with tailored stimulation. Despite

Single‐Molecule Characterization of Bacterial Factor‐Dependent Transcription Activation by Rob

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Factor‐dependent transcription activation is crucial and involves complex interactions between transcription factors, RNA polymerase, and promoter DNA. Using single‐molecule assays, we show that Rob prebinds RNAP to facilitate promoter search and enhances DNA unwinding and promoter escape.

Autoantigen mRNA‐LNP Vaccination Drives Therapeutic Efficacy in Preclinical Models for Autoimmunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Systemic and intramuscular delivery of autoantigen mRNA via lipid nanoparticles reprograms antigen‐presenting cells toward a mature, homeostatic state, driving antigen‐specific T cell exhaustion and providing therapeutic efficacy across autoimmune disease models.

A Closed‐Loop Framework for Inverse Design: Dynamic Training and Intelligent Optimization for Heterostructured Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To accelerate the inverse design of heterostructured metal matrix composites, a closed‐loop scientific machine learning framework integrates continual learning prediction with NSGA‐II‐PMCP optimization. The framework maps microstructural descriptors to strength, toughness, and modulus, expands high‐quality Pareto solutions, and guides experimentally ...

A Review of CP-ABE Access Control Schemes In Fog Computing

open access: yesتحلیل مدارها، داده ها و سامانه ها
Fog computing with cloud computing is useful for real-time processing in the IoT ecosystem. Fog computing can be used to outsource and lighten the computations of the end nodes because it is closer to the end nodes and has higher processing and ...

Renal Clearable Luminogenic Reporter for Ultrasensitive Influenza Virus Imaging and Efficient Antiviral Therapies Monitoring in Living Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A viral luminogenic reporter with chemiluminescence/fluorescence dual‐response and efficient renal clearance was developed for non‐invasive imaging and urinalysis of H1N1 virus protease, allowing for remote detection of H1N1 virus infections and monitoring of antiviral therapeutic efficacy in living mice.

Laser amygdalohippocampotomy reduces contralateral hippocampal sub-clinical activity in bitemporal epilepsy: A case illustration of responsive neurostimulator ambulatory recordings

open access: yesEpilepsy & Behavior Reports
Responsive neurostimulation (RNS) is a valuable tool in the diagnosis and treatment of medication refractory epilepsy (MRE) and provides clinicians with better insights into patients’ seizure patterns. In this case illustration, we present a patient with

Molecular Dynamics‐Guided Sterol Engineering of mRNA‐Lipid Nanoparticles Reprograms Biodistribution and Enhances Spleen‐Selective Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sterol engineering enables precise control of mRNA lipid nanoparticles by tuning membrane organization. Replacing cholesterol with bile acid‐derived sterols redirects protein expression from the liver to the spleen. Notably, CA‐20 LNP enhances antigen‐specific immune responses while exhibiting a favorable safety profile, highlighting sterols as a ...

Transcriptional regulation of subclass 5b fimbriae

open access: yesBMC Microbiology, 2008
Background Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) is a major cause of infant and child mortality in developing countries. This enteric pathogen causes profuse watery diarrhea by elaborating one or more enterotoxins that intoxicate eukaryotic cells and ...
