This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

Post-Disaster Road Reconstruction in Aceh - Local Governments’ Role in Road Maintenance
Many studies have shown the importance of improved road infrastructure towards economic development of a region through economic agglomeration and widened business network coverage resulting from better access and higher mobility. However, such benefit

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

PROPOSAL OF CAPACITY CALCULATION OF FOUR-LEG INTERSECTION WITHOUT “STRAIGHT” TRAFFIC PRIORITY
This paper deals with problem of capacity calculation of four-leg intersection after change of traffic priority. This paper was prepared with financial support for project FRVŠ 2206/2011/F1/d “Innovation of Learning of Subjects from the Design of Urban ...

Optimal user charges and cost recovery for roads in developing countries [PDF]
The optimal charge for road use is equal to variable costs for road maintenance, together with the costs road users impose on other road users and on the rest of society.

Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Road network reserve capacity with stochastic user equilibrium
To relax the strong assumption associated with User Equilibrium (UE) in the previous research of network reserve capacity conducted by Gao and Song (2002), this paper assumes that the drivers all make route choices based on Stochastic User Equilibrium ...

An Investigation of User Costs and Benefits of Winter Road Closures, June 2005
This project explores the user costs and benefits of winter road closures. Severe winter weather makes travel unsafe and dramatically increases crash rates.

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

Predicting the roadway width of forest roads by means of airborne laser scanning
Modern forestry relies on an extensive network of well-maintained forest roads. However, the trafficability of forest roads can be limited by poor construction or by insufficient load-bearing capacity caused by, for example, weather conditions.
