Abstract In order to explore the displacement failure characteristics of deep roadway surrounding rock, the surrounding rock stress field model of the uniform stress field in the circular tunnel is simplified. It analyzes the stress evolution features of deep coal rock and discusses the mechanism of zonal disintegration.
