Automated irrigation systems in mitigating laser‐induced temperature during simulated ureteroscopy
Objective To compare the temperature changes with laser activation when providing irrigation with a pressure bag vs a fluid management system (FMS). Materials and Methods Benchtop experiments were performed with a LithoVue™ Elite (Boston Scientific Corp., Marlborough, MA, USA) flexible ureteroscope placed through an 11/13‐F ureteric access sheath into ...

ReMoDe – Recursive modality detection in distributions of ordinal data
Abstract The detection of the number of modes in distributions of ordinal data is relevant for applied researchers across disciplines, from uncovering polarization to detecting incidence groups in clinical symptom scales. Yet, established modality detection methods are either purely descriptive or not developed for ordinal data.

Individualized Pathfinding in Rugged Open Terrains Using Semantic Navigation Meshes
We introduce semantic navigation meshes for complex outdoor terrains, partitioning space into regions with coherent semantic properties like slope or vegetation density. The resulting graphs enable efficient pathfinding with agent‐specific, parameterized cost functions without precomputation, accelerating search while maintaining path quality close to ...

ABSTRACT Developmental psychology continues to shape how adults engage with children about death and dying. This influences whether children are included in rituals surrounding human and other‐than‐human bodies. Kokh 1 is rectangular in plan, has a slightly concave floor and rounded corners, and contained three burials (Homo I, II, and III) and a small juglet. Two blocking stones seal the kokh. Kokh 2 is ovular in plan and also has a concave floor; one burial was recovered here (Homo IV). Kokh 3 is rectangular in plan and was tightly sealed by a blocking stone.
