IDENTIFICATION OF ANTHROPOGENIC MATERIALS IN TOPSOIL FROM THE URBAN AREA OF BANJARMASIN, INDONESIA USING GEOCHEMICAL AND ROCK MAGNETIC PROPERTIES

open access: yesRudarsko-geološko-naftni Zbornik
The city of Banjarmasin is located in a peatland and has a tropical climate. Peat areas have their own uniqueness, plus this city is traversed by many tributaries and is very rarely researched, especially in relation to the use of rock magnetism.

SIRT6‐Mediated Deacetylation of ATF3 Promotes Silica‐Induced Lung Fibrosis by Enhancing its Nuclear Import via Binding to Importin α

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SIRT6‐mediated ATF3 acetylation drives MGARP transcription and mitochondrial dysfunction in macrophages, promoting macrophage senescence and pulmonary fibrosis. Mechanistically, HSP70/Importin α competitively binds to ATF3, modulating its nuclear translocation.

Summary of Studies on Rock Magnetism

open access: yesJournal of geomagnetism and geoelectricity, 1954
A series of abstracts is given of papers recently published by the author. The main conclusions reached are that the earth's magnetization has suffered repeated reversals, and that rock magnetism can be used for geological correlation and for studies of continental drift and polar wandering.

An Energy Autonomous Microneedle Array‐Based Sensing System for Continuous Biomarker Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an innovative self‐powered wearable biosensor system for real‐time monitoring of multiple biomarkers in interstitial fluid. The device integrates stainless steel‐based minimally invasive microneedles with ion‐selective membranes, enabling simultaneous Na+, K+, Ca2+, pH, and glucose detection.

Mitochondrial Carrier SLC25A13 Drives Ferroptosis Resistance and Immune Evasion via a STAT3–IFI6 Circuit in Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SLC25A13 is identified as an immunometabolic driver of triple‐negative breast cancer that sustains ferroptosis resistance and immune evasion through a STAT3–IFI6 circuit. Pharmacologic degradation of SLC25A13 restores ferroptosis sensitivity and enhances anti‐PD‐1 efficacy, highlighting a strategy to convert immune‐cold tumors into immunotherapy ...

Magnetism in crystalline rare-earth compounds [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this thesis we investigate the magnetism of a selection of crystalline mate- rials that display fascinating macroscopic properties, largely due to the complex behaviour of rare-earth ions. The technique of choice is diffraction; shown to pro- vide the

Strain‐Preserving Transfer of Freestanding Oxide Membranes for Tunable Magnetic Anisotropy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An epoxy‐assisted exfoliation and transfer strategy circumvents the trade‐off between structural flexibility and strain tunability in freestanding oxide membranes. Epitaxial strain is effectively preserved, enabling versatile and robust control of magnetic anisotropy without sacrificing flexibility.
