A new cerebrocortical organoid model using isogenic hiPSCs with familial Alzheimer's mutations recapitulates key AD features, including amyloid‐beta and phospho‐Tau aggregation, neuronal hyperexcitability, and synapse loss. Single‐cell RNA‐seq reveals aberrant pathways in excitatory and inhibitory neurons.

Connexin43 Deficiency Leads to Ventricular Arrhythmias by Reprogramming Proline Metabolism
The study demonstrated that connexin43 (Cx43) knockout caused arrhythmic phenotype and decreased proline content in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, Cx43 interacts with the amino acid transporter SNAT2 (sodium‐dependent neutral amino acid transporter), and its deficiency disrupts proline transport and metabolism.

Study on Rock Breaking Efficiency of Non Planar PDC Teeth
In order to explore the law of rock breaking efficiency of existing non planar teeth in sandstone, indoor single tooth rock breaking experiment and numerical simulation of rock breaking are carried out for planar teeth, sharp circular teeth and axe teeth, and the effects of different eating depth and rake angle on rock breaking efficiency of PDC teeth

The chemical bond as an emergent phenomenon
We first argue that the covalent bond and the various closed-shell interactions can be thought of as symmetry broken versions of one and the same interaction, viz., the multi-center bond.

Effect of antenna size on rock mass breaking efficiency under open-ended microwave treatment
Antenna size is a critical factor influencing the efficiency of open-ended microwave rock-breaking. An electromagnetic-thermal-mechanical coupling model was developed to systematically investigate the influence of antenna size on the temperature distribution within the rock mass under microwave treatment.
