Tiriama kaip signalo perdavimo kokybę įtakoja skaidulos ilgis, moduliacijos tipas, bitų perdavimo sparta bei ponešlių kiekis. Skaidulos atstumas tiriamas diapazone nuo 0 iki 200km.
