Stress, Role Ambiguity, and Role Conflict

The purposes of the study were to determine the relationships between stress, role ambiguity, and role conflict and to correlate these measures with job satisfaction. Direct service workers ( n = 138) in mental health, mental retardation, and physical restoration facilities participated. All variables were significantly intercorrelated.

Abstract We show how to use the entity-relationship diagram as a vehicle for specifying the semantics of attributes. A main contribution of this work is a strategy for creating entity-relationship diagrams that make explicit the role of attributes that are over the same domain.

Nonnurse healthcare professionals who are on the same teams as the participating nurses also were assessed for their expectations of the nurse's role.
