Analysis of impact of shaft speed and external load on the radial ball bearing lubrication regimes [PDF]
Appropriate lubrication of the rolling bearing is needed to lower the friction between the surfaces in mutual contact and their wear. A lubricant should completely separate the rolling elements from the raceways. The values that affect the efficiency and

Simulation of Rolling Contact Fatigue Strength for Traction Drive Elements
A simulation of the rolling contact fatigue strength of a traction drive element was proposed. The simulation can account for both the distribution of sizes of inclusions in the element material and the influence of traction forces at the element surface.

Test Modes for Establishing the Tribological Profile under Slip-Rolling
The complex nature of slip-rolling contacts in many applications such as gear tooth flanks, rolling bearings, and heavy machinery often makes determining the friction and wear properties, as well as the fatigue resistance, of tribosystems difficult.

The limiting Strength for Rolling Contact

Rolling contact fatigue in lubricated contacts
Abstract This work presents and discusses the results of rolling contact fatigue tests (IP-300) with six different lubricants using a four-ball E.P. lubricant tester. These results tended to confirm the mechanism for rolling fatigue proposed by Jin and Kang.

Finite Element Analysis of Deformation Behavior of Wire Cold Flat Rolling [PDF]
Flat rolling of wire is an industrial process used to manufacture electrical flat wire, medical catheters, springs and piston segments, among other products. This paper presents a 3D finite element analysis of wire flat rolling. The variations of rolling
