The groundworks consisted of the mechanical excavation of an open cut pipeline trench measuring approximately c 77m in length, 1.1m wide, and ranging in depth between 1.3m to 1.5m bgl. Archaeological attendance was undertaken on the first day of excavation, Wednesday 30th September 2020.
