Charting Water‐in‐Natural‐Salt (WiNS) Electrolytes. Part I: Effect of Anion's Alkyl Tail Length

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
At 20 m, potassium carboxylates from formate to butyrate reveal anion tail‐controlled nanostructure. SAXS shows a pre‐peak shifting to lower q with chain length. Molecular dynamics reproduces S(q) and attributes it to concentration fluctuations forming bicontinuous segregation.

The in‐hospital administration of sacubitril/valsartan in acute myocardial infarction: A meta‐analysis

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 998-1012, April 2025.
In patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction related heart failure, the in‐hospital administration of ARNIs was associated with a reduced risk of MACEs and re‐hospitalizations for heart failure, as well as cardiac remodeling, compared to standard therapy.

Implementation of guideline‐recommended medical therapy for patients with heart failure in Europe

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 790-798, April 2025.
Abstract Physicians' adherence to guideline‐recommended heart failure (HF) treatment remains suboptimal, especially regarding the target doses. In particular, there is evidence that non‐cardiologists are less compliant with HF guideline recommendations. This is likely to have a detrimental impact on patients' survival, readmissions and quality of life.

Exercise limitations in amyloid cardiomyopathy assessed by cardiopulmonary exercise testing—A multicentre study

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1326-1335, April 2025.
Abstract Aims Amyloid cardiomyopathy is caused by the deposition of light chain (AL) or transthyretin amyloid (ATTR) fibrils, that leads to a restrictive cardiomyopathy, often resulting in heart failure (HF) with preserved or reduced ejection fraction.

‘Free to Be Me?’: Gender Role Norms Constrain Career Interests Less for Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual People Than for Heterosexual People

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Social Psychology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Societal gender role norms play a crucial role in shaping men's and women's career aspirations. However, prior research documenting this key role of gendered norms has primarily focused on heterosexual women and men in the global North‐West. Previous studies documenting differences in career interests by sexual orientation suggest that gender ...

Probing Chiral Recognition on Amylose Tris(3,5‐Dimethylphenylcarbamate) Using Cinnamyl 2‐Aminoanilides: The Subtle Impact of Aliphatic Substituents

open access: yesELECTROPHORESIS, EarlyView.
This study investigates how subtle aliphatic substituent differences in racemic cinnamyl 2‐aminoanilides affect chiral recognition on amylose tris(3,5‐dimethylphenylcarbamate). Pronounced enantioselectivity changes arose from minimal structural variations. Mobile phase effects were examined, with 2‐propanol improving resolution.
