Preliminaries to a romanian speech database [PDF]
4th International Conference on Spoken Language Processing (ICSLP 1996), 1996 The paper presents the design and early recording stages of a Romanian speech database to be used for development of both speech recognition and speech synthesis systems. The recognition part is built around a core patterned after the EUROM 1 design, so that it has good compatibility, and includes both read and semispontaneous speech.
