Mean-field diffusive dynamics on weighted networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Diffusion is a key element of a large set of phenomena occurring on natural and social systems modeled in terms of complex weighted networks. Here, we introduce a general formalism that allows to easily write down mean-field equations for any diffusive ...

The Binding of 3‐O‐Methylfluorescein Phosphate to the Catalytic Domain of the Human CDC25B Phosphatase: A Structural Investigation

open access: yesChemBioChem, Volume 27, Issue 7, 14 April 2026.
Structural studies on the complex that CDC25B C473S (CDC25B‐S) forms with the 3‐O‐methylfluorescein phosphate (3‐OMFP) reveal how the fluorogenic substrate binds CDC25B‐S, engaging key binding regions and inducing structural adjustments that stabilize the protein.

Guided Cavity Preparation to Access an Invagination and Preserve Pulp Vitality of an Immature Maxillary Lateral Incisor With Type IIIa Dens Invaginatus: Technical Overview and a Case Report With 3‐Year Follow‐Up

open access: yesInternational Endodontic Journal, Volume 59, Issue 4, Page 737-743, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Dens invaginatus (DI) is a developmental anomaly often associated with caries and periapical pathosis. This report describes guided access and filling of an infected invagination in a maxillary lateral (tooth #22) with long‐term preservation of pulp vitality.

Dynamically broken Anti-de Sitter action for gravity

open access: yes, 2008
Due to a suitable Higgs mechanism, a standard Anti-de Sitter gauge theory becomes spontaneously broken. The resulting Lorentz invariant gravitational action includes the Hilbert-Einstein term of ordinary Einstein-Cartan gravity with cosmological constant,

Flavouring Group Evaluation 82 Revision 2 (FGE.82Rev2): Consideration of epoxides evaluated by JECFA

open access: yesEFSA Journal, Volume 24, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract The Panel on Food Additives and Flavourings (FAF) of the European Food Safety Authority was requested to consider evaluations of flavouring substances assessed since 2000 by the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA), and to decide whether further evaluation is necessary, as laid down in Commission Regulation (EC) No.

From Barns to Bushes: Exploring the ECOFF‐Based Non‐Wild‐Type Status of Campylobacter spp. in Pets, Livestock, Synanthropic Birds and Wild Animals in Northwestern Italy

open access: yesZoonoses and Public Health, Volume 73, Issue 1, Page 30-44, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a significant threat to both humans and animals. Zoonotic bacteria, such as Campylobacter, contribute to human infections and the spread of AMR, particularly through livestock, pets and wildlife. We investigated the prevalence, distribution and EUCAST ECOFF‐based wild‐type (WT) vs.
