Prediction of room acoustical parameters [PDF]
During a 6-yr period, detailed room acoustical measurements have been carried out in 35 halls in Denmark and in other European countries. By subjecting these data to statistical analyses, it has been possible to confirm old and establish new relationships between design variables and the position-averaged acoustical data.

Studies in modal density – its effect at low frequencies [PDF]
The ability to objectively measure the reproduction quality of a small room at low frequencies has long been desired. Over many years, there have been attempts to produce recommendations, metrics, and criteria by which to define a particular room.

Upconversion nanoparticle‐covalent organic framework core–shell particles provide enhanced contrast for optoacoustic imaging by leveraging the optical absorption of upconversion luminescence within the covalent organic framework matrix. Beyond their role as contrast agents, these particles enable customizable therapeutic agent loading and release, as ...

Phonon Driven Ferroelectricity and Raman Active Modes in Hybrid Organic‐Inorganic Perovskites
Ferroelectric domains, a hallmark of ferroelectricity, are studied using temperature‐dependent Raman spectroscopy to uncover characteristic phonons associated with ferroelectric phase transitions in different n‐value HOIPs. Higher n‐value HOIP demonstrate a reduced ferroelectric switching energy barrier, providing valuable insights for optimizing ...
