A Multidirectional Textile Interface for Remote Control Using Dynamic Area‐Based Capacitance Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Here, we present a textile, wearable capacitive interface enabling multidirectional remote control by dynamically modulating electrode overlap and spacing via a freely gliding upper electrode. A forearm‐mounted prototype drives robotic and media tasks with 12–15 ms latency, maintains < 0.8% drift after 500 cycles, and remains stably functional at 90 ...

Passivation‐Induced Species Dynamics and Microstructural Evolution in Solid‐State Lithium–Sulfur Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The formation of insulating Li2S during discharge in solid‐state lithium–sulfur batteries passivate reaction sites and limits sulfur utilization. In this work, a microstructure‐resolved modeling framework coupling transport and reaction kinetics is developed to predict charge–discharge behavior and reveal particle‐scale species evolution and incomplete

COMMON POLE ESTIMATION WITH AN ORTHOGONAL VECTOR METHOD

open access: yes, 2006
International audienceIn some applications as in biomedical analysis, we encounter the problem of estimating the common poles (angularfrequency and damping-factor) in a multi-channel set-up composed as the sum of Exponentially Damped Sinusoids.

Fast root-MUSIC for arbitrary arrays

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2010
By using the manifold separation techniques, root-MUSIC designed for uniform linear arrays has been extended to arbitrary geometries at the cost of increased computational complexity. A fast algorithm is proposed that exploits the Laurent structure of the polynomial to conduct fast spectral factorisation via the Schur algorithm.

Schooling Trajectories and the Development of Brain Dynamics: A Comparative Study of Montessori and Traditional Education

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigate whether Montessori and traditional schooling systems shape the developmental trajectory of large‐scale brain dynamics in different ways. We quantify the arrow of time (“non‐reversibility”) in neural activity during resting state and movie‐watching, revealing distinct maturational patterns.

A Soft Mechanoluminescent Skin for High‐Resolution Optical Tactile Sensing in Human–Machine Interaction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A soft mechanoluminescent tactile sensor that converts force directly into light is presented, enabling imaging‐based, wiring‐free touch sensing. By integrating a flexible ML‐skin with CMOS readout, the system achieves high sensitivity, fast response, and high spatial resolution, while maintaining structural simplicity and energy efficiency, offering a

FDA-MIMO Radar Rapid Target Localization via Reconstructed Reduce Dimension Rooting

open access: yesSensors
Frequency diversity array–multiple-input multiple-output (FDA-MIMO) radar realizes an angle- and range-dependent system model by adopting a slight frequency offset between adjacent transmitter sensors, thereby enabling potential target localization. This

Terahertz Channel Modeling, Estimation and Localization in RIS‐Assisted Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Reconfigurable intelligent surfaces have become a recent intensive research focus. Based on practical applications, channel strategies for RIS‐assisted terahertz wireless communication systems are categorized into three different types: channel modeling, channel estimation, and channel localization.
