Endodontic treatment of trauma-induced necrotic immature teeth using a tricalcium silicate-based bioactive cement : a report of 3 cases with 24-month follow-up

open access: yes, 2016
Background: Pulp necrosis is the second most common complication after traumatic dental injuries and occurs mostly within the first 6-24 months of follow-up period, depending on the type of dental trauma.

Single Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics Define a Proinflammatory and Profibrotic Niche After Kidney Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By integrating single‐cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics, tenascin C (TNC) is unveiled as a central organizer of the proinflammatory and profibrotic niche in kidney fibrosis. TNC promotes macrophage activation through TLR4/NF‐κB signaling, leading to renal inflammation and fibrosis.

LPS‐Induced Mitochondrial Damage via SLC41A1‐Mediated Magnesium Ion Efflux Leads to the Pyroptosis of Dental Stem Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipopolysaccharide induces upregulation of the magnesium (Mg2+) efflux transporter solute carrier family 41 member 1 in dental stem cells, leading to a decrease in intracellular Mg2+ concentration and promoting the binding of oligomycin sensitivity‐conferring protein and cyclophilinD.
