Implantable drug delivery system: Frontiers of medicine‐engineering interdisciplinary

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
This review systematically summarizes the driving mechanisms of implantable on‐demand drug delivery systems (IDDS), including endogenous, exogenous, and closed‐loop strategies. It highlights the pivotal roles of flexible electronics and miniaturization in enhancing the tissue conformity and spatial adaptability.

Drought Risk in Mango and Avocado Orchards: Insights Into Plant Water Relations and Irrigation‐Related Agronomic Solutions

open access: yesIrrigation and Drainage, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Climate change is making water availability more uncertain, with growing consequences for the productivity and long‐term sustainability of tropical and subtropical fruit orchards. Mangifera indica L. and Persea americana Mill. both require large amounts of water to sustain growth and productivity.

Phenotypic and Molecular Characterization of Naganishia uzbekistanensis: Diagnostic Challenges and Antifungal Resistance Profile

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis, EarlyView.
The graphical abstract summarizes the laboratory characterization of Naganishia uzbekistanensis strain CY11558. The isolate shows distinct colony morphology, globular yeast cells with a fibrillar surface network under scanning electron microscopy, and a weakly positive cryptococcal antigen reaction.

Cost‐effectiveness and long‐term outcomes of periodontal regeneration versus dental implants: A retrospective study

open access: yesJournal of Periodontology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Direct comparative data on periodontal regeneration (PR) versus extraction and implant placement remain limited. Tooth‐specific periodontal conditions such as furcation involvement and overall tooth prognosis may dictate success or failure of such treatment.

Twenty‐four month clinical outcomes of modified coronally advanced tunnel technique with leukocyte‐ and platelet‐rich fibrin–functionalized porcine dermal matrix for single/multiple gingival recessions

open access: yesJournal of Periodontology, EarlyView.
Abstract Background To report 24‐month clinical and 3D outcomes of single and multiple RT1 and RT2 gingival recessions treated with the modified coronally advanced tunnel (MCAT) technique and an L‐PRF‐functionalized porcine dermal matrix (PDM), as long‐term data on PDM in root coverage are scarce.
