Pollinator‐targeted annual flower strips increase abundances of pollinators but also natural enemies and herbivores. Natural enemies and herbivores disperse in a taxon‐specific manner into nearby crops. Pest control by ground‐dwellers slightly increases in crop areas near the flower strips.

This Finnish registry study shows that concomitant occupational asthma and rhinitis are common in patients with occupational contact urticaria or protein contact dermatitis, often sharing the same exposure. We assessed Spodoptera litura (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) performance on five common pasture plant species. Larvae consumed more dock, plantain and chicory per day than red or white clover, but with lower conversion efficiencies. Feeding on red clover reduced weights and egg laying, and lengthened development times compared with plantain.
