We screened a panel of 98 Brassicaceae genotypes (97 Brassica napus and 1 Sinapis alba) for cabbage stem flea beetle (Psylliodes chrysocephala) larval antibiosis. We found limited evidence for antibiosis across B. napus but consistent antibiosis in S. alba. Brassicaceae relatives may therefore better inform resistance traits for breeding.

T and B Lymphocyte Rosetting in Undernourished Children
T and B lymphocyte rosetting values were obtained for 18 children with kwashiorkor, marasmus, or nutritional edema. T cell values were subnormal in all malnutrition classes, but were lowest in children with kwashiorkor. Four of five malnourished children who were sensitized with 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB) before refeeding failed to respond to ...

CR1 Knops blood group alleles are not associated with severe malaria in the Gambia
The Knops blood group antigen erythrocyte polymorphisms have been associated with reduced falciparum malaria-based in vitro rosette formation (putative malaria virulence factor).

The Plasmodium falciparum variant erythrocyte surface antigens known as PfEMP1, encoded by the var gene family, are thought to play a crucial role in malaria pathogenesis because they mediate adhesion to host cells and immuno-modulation.

ABSTRACT Grass mowing is one of the most resource‐consuming activities in green maintenance, whether in private areas such as home gardens or in public spaces like urban parks. In recent years, concerns related to climate change, human health, and sustainability have become increasingly prominent in green maintenance, leading manufacturers and industry

Ground‐based robotic remote sensing for standardized biodiversity monitoring in coastal habitats
Illustrated workflow of the proposed citizen‐to‐robot monitoring pipeline: (i) expert‐validated citizen observations are translated into AI models, (ii) deployed on a ground‐based robotic platform for proximal sensing of coastal dune habitats, (iii) enabling standardized detection of ecological targets (e.g., Pancratium maritimum & Brithys crini), and (
