Enhanced Stability in Zero‐Excess Li‐Metal Batteries via Prelithiated Carbon Nanofiber Interlayers
Carbon nanofibers carbonized at 700°C show Li metal deposition predominantly on the side facing the Cu current collector. During delithiation, Li agglomerates remain as inactive lithium on the fiber surface. This behavior can be changed by a modified n‐Buli prelithiation without a washing step, suppressing dead Li formation and therefore enabling ...

Rotating scalarized supermassive black holes
In this study, we investigate rotating black hole solutions within a scalar-Gauss–Bonnet gravity framework that incorporates a squared Gauss–Bonnet term. By employing a quadratic–exponential coupling function between the scalar field and the Gauss–Bonnet

Twisting of light around rotating black holes
Kerr black holes are among the most intriguing predictions of Einstein's general relativity theory(1,2). These rotating massive astrophysical objects drag and intermix their surrounding space and time, deflecting and phase-modifying light emitted near ...

Ferroelectric Rashba semiconductors promise ultralow‐power devices but lack industry‐quality films. This work demonstrates CMOS‐compatible fabrication of high‐quality α‐GeTe(111) films via magnetron sputtering, enabled by a 5 nm Sb2Te3 seed layer. Structural and ferroelectric analyses show robust, switchable polarization comparable to MBE films, paving

We investigate the geometry‐governed optoelectronic anisotropy arising from dielectric confinement in quasi‐1D γ‐GaS nanoribbons with intrinsically isotropic atomic structures. Dielectric mismatch between the nanoribbon and its surroundings leads to a general polarization‐dependent photoresponse during near‐field scattering.

Luminosity of accretion disks around rotating regular black holes
We study thin accretion disks in the gravitational field of a class of rotating regular black holes. Our objective is to determine the key parameters governing these accretion disks: the radius of the innermost stable circular orbit $$(r_{\textrm{ISCO}})$

Neuromorphic Near‐Sensor and In‐Sensor Computing Enabled by Next‐Generation Material‐Based Sensors
This Review presents a structural framework that classifies neuromorphic sensing into near‐sensor and in‐sensor architectures, clarifying physical coupling between sensing and computation. The framework connects neural and synaptic device functions with recent advances in optical, mechanical, and chemical sensing, compares energy consumption and ...

Imaging Electric Polarization Switching in Multilayer Graphene
Domain wall sliding‐induced electric polarization switching is directly observed for the first time in multilayer graphene, enabled by a novel optical readout method. The polarization switching is realized upon application of global and local electric fields, and mechanical forces between neighboring polar domains of opposite out‐of‐plane polarizations
